A special evening tour with Colin Hughes, our Botanic Gardener, who is celebrating 25 years at the Palm House. He will guide you through the spectacular Palm House and its botanic collection. Colin is one of only four skilled Botanical Gardeners in Liverpool who care for the historic Liverpool Botanical Collection. Enjoy a tour, with plenty of time for Questions and Answers and a botanical cocktail is included in your ticket price. Numbers are strictly limited.

A magical opportunity for all adults and children ages 3years and over to spend some quality time together within the tranquil setting of the Palm House, Sefton Park. This 60 minute class is an ideal introduction for all parents, aunties, uncles, grandparents to bring their children and practice the A-Z of YogaBears 26 postures designed to meet all children at their level providing a fun and interactive session. The class will also include a partner pose sequence which entails you and your child working together as a team which is such an amazing experience and something you can definitely take away from the day. The class will finish with a relaxation where as a family you can experience the magical moment of stillness and togetherness.

Lay down a blanket and make yourselves comfortable for the Palm House’s first ever Drag Queen Story Time!

Ms. Bloomsbury is the green fingered botanist explorer and effervescent resident of the Palm House. She’s bringing an interactive feminist retelling of popular fairy tales in a casual and inviting atmosphere. Perfect for half term!

Experienced story teller and clown Brendan Curtis (Cabaret from the Shadows) will take children and adults alike on an audio visual journey using the exciting context of the Palm House and its plants to ignite imaginations and stimulate interest in the beauty of the natural world.
